We has already shown how to search the map without network, now let us show how to make a map without network. Actually it is easy to make a map. You only need to download the map from website and exchange it to the format which can be recognized by your iphone.

Detailed method:

　　We need a computer which can surf the web, and also need to download GMDL (Global Map Download Tool).

　　GMDL has to be supported by framework 2.0 or higher.

Step 1:

　　discompress GMDL and open the programme: Global Map Download Tool.exe，like the following picture: Choose map source; MapABC; name the map.

Step 2:

　　Find the region you downloaded from the right map regioin. Drag the map with your mouse, magify it by double-clicking  it. Click "Preview 1x" to preview the generated map until you are consent with it. Click "download the map" on the left side. (Note: Previewed map and Generated map are not the same ).

Step 3:

　　Click "Download the Map" on the left, and a previewing window will hop-up. Wait for the complement of this downloaded map, just as the following picture:

The red circle on the left can choose resolution ratio. The higher the resolution ration is, the larger the map file is. The blue square in this map has a choosing window. Delete the region you don't want may reduce the size of the file. After revision, click the biggest button in the yellow circle: Uncheck any tiles which.......here，download.
